- Texas leads the all-time series, 6-3.
- In the last meeting between the two teams, Texas won 77-50 (Jan. 17, 2015 in Austin).
- The Horns have beat WVU four consecutive times, all by double-digit margins. UT owns an 18.0 point scoring margin in those games.
- Kendal Yancy set career highs in points (29), field goals (9-of-17), three-pointers (6-of-9) and free throws (5-of-6) during Saturday's loss to ISU. Yancy is averaging 21.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg over the last two games.
