We introduced you guys to Will Baizer already and now we are happy to announce his podcast partner Ryan Bridges has joined HornSports as a contributing writer. Ryan is strong in X's and O's and film evaluation, and both he and Will are going to help me with rankings and recruiting evaluation. So once again, please extend that customary brand of hospitality to Ryan.

I guess I should explain myself. As Mike said, I co-host 4th & 5 on Longhorn Sports Radio with Will. I was raised in various high school football offices and turned down MULTIPLE (read: two) opportunities to play college football at a high level (read: DIII) because I was determined to go to the University of Texas. After I saw my first Longhorns football player on campus I decided it would be unwise for a 175-pound defensive end to try to walk-on. But I've stayed around the game, and if you frequent any other Longhorn football sites you may have encountered my work and didn't know it.

I'm very excited to have this excuse to watch and write about more football. My fiancée is not. Hopefully she'll hang around long enough for me to use this gif on her.
