Not a lot coming out of the Patrick Hudson official visit but I was able to talk to someone associated with Hudson about the visit. The big man isn't letting much out, but I was told Texas made a big impression and gave him a lot to think about. Taking the temperature of a recruit during or right after an OV is always a risky thing, but the feeling I got is that Texas closed the gap in this recruitment. I would still lean towards Baylor in this recruitment, but don't be surprised if Texas is a big factor down the stretch.

Interesting tidbit over on Spurstalk in the recruiting thread:

Mark Henry is a Silsbee legend, and he has been a big part of that area helping athletes for awhile because he got help himself and without it wouldn't have made it. Mark also suffers from dyslexia horribly, he is a smart guy who has real problems reading.
For Mark the man who saved his life in his opinion was ex Texas professor Dr. Todd

Hudson and Henry are very close. So close Henry was with him on the visit. Henry wants Hudson in Austin.
