LFG Ty Madden!!! Great 1st inning!

I jinxed Madden in the 2nd. After he struck out the side in the first, he allowed 2 runs. Did follow that with a 1-2-3 3rd inning. 
 

Bats haven’t done anything through 2. Have to get those going. 
 

Also I just started following @joeywa on Twitter and he gives details down to each pitch! Great to follow if you can’t watch like me.

This MSU pitcher is a stud.  Will be drafted.  His offspeed stuff is flat out nasty.

Thru 4, Horns trail 4-0

Madden done.  On the bump is Hansen.

Texas puts one up in the 5th on a solo HR.  Gets bases loaded with no outs, chase the MSU starter, and the 1-2-3 hitters all strike out and leave them loaded.

Horns trail 5-1 thru 5 complete

Hansen is chased in T6.  Quintanilla on to pitch.

Texas looks like they're still frozen in Austin.  No energy. Strikeouts at 17, and we're only thru 8. 

Pierce and crew will have a lot to work on before tomorrow's game against Arkansas.

TCU fell to Ole Miss tonight, and Arkansas is up on Tech in the 7th.

Headed to the game tonight. I hope they have a better performance. That’s a tough draw to start the season with those 3 games but I like it. Your weaknesses will get exposed early and you can get to work improving.
