[MBHORNSFAN]

Louisville had more first round picks than the entire Big 12....WOW What a shit show this conference has become. The only positive is we have the coach now that made that happen.

i for one, just cannot help but wonder.. just what on earth is mack brown thinking at this point?  did he even contact charlie strong, to offer a bit of congrats upon such an achievement?  GOD, is surely smiling down upon austin, tx.

maybe we need a third thread on this topic.

the fact that texas has recruited poorly and developed poorly is hardly news.

i'm glad a new era is upon us and looking forward, not back. can't do anything about the guys we recruited 3-4 years ago.

"Former Eagles first rounder Danny Watkins leaves NFL, returns to firefighting"http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2014/08/former_eagles_first_rounder_danny_watkins_leaves_nfl_returns_to_firefighting.html

During Danny Watkins' brief stint with the Eagles some questioned his fire for the game and on Tuesday he left the NFL to return to his passion for being a fire fighter.

Watkins, chosen by the Eagles in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Baylor, was a fire fighter in his native British Columbia prior to taking up football and playing offensive guard.
