Matt Miller has a new mock out with Malcom Brown to Miami at #14

Couple of other notes --

Mariota to Tampa at #1

Leonard Williams of USC (who just declared) to Jags at #3

Amari Cooper to Raidas #4 (sidenote: Cooper is from Miami Northwestern, same HS as current target Deandre Baker)

Jameis Winston to Jets #7

CB Marcus Peters (Washington) to Texans #16

OT Cedric Ogbuehi (aggy) to Dallas #28

Todd Gurley to Seattle #31

Not many Big 12 players projected in this mock round one

But a couple of Louisville players were there again

I'd be shocked if Dallas took another Offensive Lineman. While it never hurts to truly solidify the line with young talent, I think Dallas could actually hold off this year. Especially when there are other needs that could be addressed in the first round.

Malcom likely won't be a guy that will blow people away at the combine, so he won't be one of those names that's bandied about for the last 2 weeks leading up to the draft. Brown will be the guy that teams watch film on, then watch more, and more, and more, and then quietly put up near the top of their draft board, hoping they have a chance to pick him.

We (Longhorns) have a lot to make up for after last season's draft.

I actually think there is a chance that he stays another year... but would understand if he goes.... has to feed his family...

i expect Brown to go in round 2 or 3. Nobody else will be drafted. There is a reason we suck, and it isn't just a few coaching flaws. Mack recruited a bunch of" t shirt and shorts" All Americans. That's guys who look good in ts and shorts at Summer camps. We have no mean MOFOs you want standing next you in a dark alley. Would  I want to piss Brown off in a dark alley? No, not unless Bama's DT had my back...LOL

It was an honor to put on that jersey for so long.

Having that Texas across my chest throughout these years has meant a whole lot to me.

Having the opportunity to graduate and play at this University has been nothing but a blessing.

I enjoyed every bit of the time I spent here and also the opportunity to gain so many brothers that I know I'll stay in touch with for a long time.

Now it's time for a new chapter!

That's the RB, not the DT.

It was a honor to watch the kid play and represent the Longhorns. In a season where Strong had to get rid of a lot of players that were not "all in" it is refreshing to have seen young man that put in hard work and proved you could be amoung the best without the baggage.
