Finally made it down the terrible i35 my word. My family needed me to ask 1 last question. We are eating coopers tonight like some of you all recommended and it’s AWESOME. Now we need a true authentic KID FRIENDLY Mexican joint for tomorrow evening. Any ideas?

Matt's Famous el Rancho is a long-standing Austin traditional Mexican restaurant.

I prefer Tex-Mex and my go-to is Chuy's –at least twice a month.

I also recommend Texican Café.  Really good El Paso style Tex-mex.

I'd second the recs for Texican and Matt's. Stellar food, great service, great atmosphere.

I don't care for Chuy's. Just thought it was all a show. Food was a little too rich for my tastes.

Alrighty I’ll give it a try! 1-1 so far with BBQ. Coopers was stellar.

Fingers crossed it’ll be a Saturday worth the drive!!!!! Hookem!
Okie, if the Horns win today I'm going to start a collection at Hornsports to send you and your family to every remaining game this year (including Morgantown).  If they win all those, then I'm sorry to say that your house in Oklahoma is going on the market and you're moving to Austin.

Hahaha seen a bunch of power plants on the way I could relocate to! This area is awesome, but I sure don’t know if I could deal with i35 construction year around and will never go to 6th street again lol was WAY out of my element.

Yeah, I made that mistake of going to 6th street as a 40yr old and felt, A. like a creep, B. Really, really old, and C. like a creep. Will never go again.  It was my wife's first time (she's from Chicago) and she didn't care for it either.

Well, enjoy the game and here's hoping you bring our boys good luck where all the breaks go their way and offense and defense have their best games of the year.  I'm so ready for one of those games from this team.

@Bogey Matt’s el ranch’s was killer!!!!! You hit a home run. Was a huge success. Thank you
