Who would you like as an Offensive Coordinator?

**Edit - Please be realistic**

a month ago, I thought major had to go. now not so sure. the offense has found a rhythm and he seems to be playing to what strengths the team has.

If Saban (or whomever else) happens wouldn't mind if he kept Major.

Really hope he'd keep Wyatt.

Great question.

Briles but i guess thats not an option.

Maybe Morris, though i doubt that ever happens. Maybe Dana H if he gets fired at Wv.

Definitely someone that can run a new age, spread O with running ability.

Just to throw some names out there:

Scott Frost-OC Oregon - not sure he has been there long enough

Neal Brown-current Kentucky OC, past 3 years at TT

Mike Norville- OC at Arizona St - i really like him, young energetic.

I always liked Mike Bobo but dont think he will leave his alma matter at UGA.

i had to look this up but if we cant get Briles, maybe Briles OC who has been with Art for the past 15 years, so he knows the O very well. His name is Phillip Montgomery and he calls all the plays.

im sure there are a lot more, cur

Mike Sherman because we would have a dominant OL for as long as he was here and he is too good to just hold the OL seat.

Rick Trickett is also Asst HC and makes 455K, oh and his TE coach could come along also.

Trickett would be a good OL coach. Sherman would be fine as an OL coach, no OC.

Tom Herman is another good name. Good young coach currently the OC at tOsu. 2013 Big10 recruiter of the year. coached at Texas St, Sam Houston St and Rice from 2001-2008 and has a masters in Education from.....you guessed it, The University of Texas at Austin. He is only 38 but has been a coach for 15 years. Started as an offensive grad assistant at Texas 99-00.

Jimbo is also from the "Saban" tree so, you never know in regards to Trickett and Brewster.

Major is gone at the end of the season. They don't know where they are going yet but they know they are gone. Major went to Deloss and told him he wanted to have his name put in the hat for the HC job a few months ago. Deloss told Major that the next HC would have much more experience than what Major has.

That being said, I don't care who we have as an OC as long as he uses all the weapons at his disposal and crushes BlowU!

I honestly think Major will be an outstanding head coach, but hes got to get away from Austin.

Why?

Having attended some of the Mack Brown camps with my oldest son, I can verify that Major is a hard worker, good motivator, and doesn't even let the campers loaf on the field.

My son was walking at the back of the pack at the end of drills for water break, and Major called him out with "You don't walk on my field! You run!"

It got his attention.

He works well with kids and instructs with passion. And I think that now we are seeing Mack not "meddling" with the personnel and the gameplan, Major is calling a good game. And we know he can flat out recruit.

Aside from the one little indiscretion that came to light, I don't think he needs to leave or get run out of town. He's got the It-factor in my opinion to be the head man.

My two cents.
