Looks like Texas might be getting a big commit or two shortly...

According to rivals.com, John Burt will be announcing his commitment to his college of choice on Sunday. This is great news considering that he is scheduled to be in Austin on Monday.

The other recruit to look out for is DuVonta Lampkin who has announced via twitter that he will be deciding on Monday between Texas, LSU, and Oklahoma.

This could be a good weekend/beginning of next week for Strong and the Horns.

since he issued a statement suspending them and banning them from all team functions literally minutes after the news broke, i say he did just that.

Looking at the 247 timeline for Burt. On March 27 Burt listed us as the leader. In the proceeding months he took some visits. Now today there's another timeline event that again lists us as a leader. 

When you look at "interests" on 247 Texas is no longer listed as 'warm", it's listed as "favorite". 

Pretty sure someone has some inside info that Burt is committing to Texas for them to list us as leaders again today and change interest to "favorites".

Suchomel is reporting Burt told him he will arrive on Monday for a week long visit. Burt is apparently announcing on Sunday. Pretty sure this is in the bag, but I've seen weirder things.
