Longhorns start season ranked #21 in AP Poll

On Monday the Associated Press released its preseason Top-25 Poll and the Longhorns find themselves ranked at #21 in the poll.  The season kicks off for new head coach Steve Sarkisian's team on September 4th at 3:30 PM when they host #23 Louisiana. 

This is the fifth-straight preseason Top-25 ranking for Texas in the preseason AP Poll.

Looks like they are already adjusting last year's outliers. Plus LSU has no business at 16.

 
This is just "news" filler and water cooler fluff.

I don't care what our preseason rank is. It's where we finish the season that counts.

Only an Aggie would celebrate their preseason rank. ?
