Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns added another Top 50 player in the state, when Tyler Legacy High School (Tyler, TX) running back Jamarion Miller announced his commitment on Monday evening.
He was originally offered by Tom Herman's staff but was quickly reoffered by the new coaching regime in late January. Miller took his official visit last weekend and wasted no time in choosing where to play at the next level.
Miller, 5-10 & 185 lbs., is ranked as the 14th best running back in the country, the 31st best player in the state of Texas and the 172nd best player in the nation according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking.
He held offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma State and a host of other schools.
He joins Klein Cain's Jaydon Blue as the second running back in the class and the 12th commit in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
With Miller's commitment, Texas sits with the #12 ranked recruiting class.
