The Longhorns announced the addition of three players for the 2013 season. Texas receiving letters of intent from Demarcus Croaker, Isaiah Taylor, and Kendal Yancy this week.

Isaiah Taylor is a 6'2 Point Guard out of Houston's The Village High School moved from Oakland after his sophomore year and was relatively unknown until he joined Marland Lowe's Team PRO AAU squad.
Taylor excels at breaking guys down off the dribble and dishing for easy shots. He's got elite quickness and while not quite TJ Ford on the break, keeps an excellent handle at speed while knifing through traffic for tough finishes around the rim or last second dimes to an open teammate. While not known for his range, Taylor can knock down open jumpers out to 20 feet and will need to extend that out to the 3- point line.
Kendal Yancy-Harris is a 6-4 guard who committed to Southern California, but the Richardson Berkner prospect rescinded his pledge after the Trojans fired coach Kevin O’Neill.
With this commitment, Texas is getting a combo guard with size who will likely help to replace the void left by Sheldon McClellan when he decided to transfer earlier this month.
His size helps him to round out Texas’ guard-heavy recruiting class. He now complements Taylor and Croaker, who fill different roles in the back court.

Demarcus is an insane scorer. He dropped 46 earlier this season and is a veritable freak athlete, with a 41-inch vertical.
