Beer drinkers seem to be like fishermen, in the sense of telling the truth about they drink? Ask a lot of beer drinkers and they will tell you it's something exotic.

But...having spent near 50 years in bars and owning two of them, most people drink Bud Lite. Number one selling beer in the USofA.

I also bet you can't name the number one selling beer in the world?

Oh and in defference to Big Mike, I used to be a beer taster and wrote a Beer Blog before people knew what blogs were. I once won a beer tasting competition in Dallas where I correctly blind tasted 10 of 10 beers. Shit..I have to go to the emergency room. I hurt my arm patting myself on the back. Damn.

My favorite is probably 512 Pecan Porter. Love everything Saint Arnold has. Looking forward to trying all the Rahr & Sons beer Friday night.

I keep things simple. When I am somewhere that sells Shiner it is usually my choice. In the UK I prefer Stella, in Germany..well its Germany, Real True Heineken. Thanks to the USAF, I have experienced some of the world's best.

I do like to consume Agave Nectar, Devil's Backbone, Abbey, Blue Moon, well sh!t I like BEER!!!

I'm jumping ahead of my next piece, but "Bevo" is an alternate form of "pivo" which is Slavic for beer. Budweis is a town in the Czech Republic that has been brewing beer for almost a millenium. People from Eastern Europe wonder why our mascot is named "Beer." Probably because no one in Austin knows the Slavic word for "weed."

What did I win? New car maybe? I need a new car. I never thought I'd ever win anything, again after that $100 million lottery, but that's gone. I spent nearly all on wild women, beer and gambling. The rest I pissed off.
