Mark May and crew said the Texas job "will be the most significant hire in the past ten years in college football". This, coming from May is a big endorsement considering how critical he has been at times over the "softness" of some Mack teams. They went on to talk about what makes the job so great and attractive. If you doubted that Patterson understands the significance of this hire before, you shouldn't with that endorsement.

He also said it has to be a big hire, we cannot afford to miss. Strong and Franklin are for show...I think it's either Fisher, Saban, or Jim Harbaugh.

I am leaning towards Fisher being the choice.
