Dodge City C.C. linebacker Lakia Henry tells me he will be taking an official visit to Texas on February 1. Texas was the front runner in the recruitment for a while, then Henry committed to Tennessee. Henry backed out of his verbal pledge to the Volunteers in early January, and Texas resumed contact with the 4-star prospect. Henry will see Ole Miss this weekend before traveling to Austin the next. If Henry qualifies academically, I feel very good about Texas’ chances. The news was first reported by Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods.
