watching movies upon my 80" inch screen

listening to some great smooth jazz

everyone have big fun.. stay safe!

Headed to Austin for a day. Then to Brenham to meet up with family and see Deathtrap at Unity Theatre. Back to Houston on Sunday for Church. Monday headed to Kemah for the day. Probably hit up some grilled Oysters at Gilhooye's.

Believe it or not I had that same lobster roll from Maine-ly last weekend - it is a small world after all

this weekend, I am all alone (well, me and 3 dogs)

All of "my people" are out of the country for another week and half

But, its allright -- the pool water if perfect and I have a fairly hot redhead living next door

Ribeyes and corn?  And beet salad?

Colonial all day on Saturday followed by carousing in the Stockyards that night.

Poolside and cook-outs with the family and neighbors Sunday & Monday.
Aaaaaaw, the Colonial. Always my favorite stop on Tour. Enjoyed it more than the Masters even.

If you get a chance, say hello to all my former colleagues at CBSSports up at the clubhouse.

I broadcasted from the Byron last Sunday (and scored a great Burnt Orange Byron Polo cheap) but bummed we weren't broadcasting this week from the Colonial. . .

The regular host is on reserve duty which is why I was pinch hitting but appreciate the comments above.. . .we do what we can but without local help. . .I fear our Vets would languish. .

And frankly, love hanging with my brother vets . ..met some amazing people. . .

Dayuuuum that looks good!!!!

BELIEVE IT!  those lobster rolls as per maine-ly sandwiches are to die for.  omg, they are so very delicious!

Family and friends for the barbecue grill and pool. Plenty of ice cold beer.

I don't like to travel far on this weekend so our Monday routine is to visit the Veterans Hearts Museum and then go visit General Sam's grave.

Last week 93-year-old retired Col. M B Etheredge passed away here in Huntsville. Good friend of mine and fishing buddies until he became disabled. In World War II he went ashore in north Africa and fought all the way through the Italian campaign then went into southern France.

He won three silver stars, two bronze stars and I'm not sure how many purple hearts. He also had three battlefield promotions. For many years he had been the most decorated World War II officer alive. I will also visit his grave on Monday.
