Tom Herman provided media members with an update on RB Jordan Whittington and the news isn’t positive.

Whittington, who was previously noted last week as having a lingering issue related to sports hernia surgery in High School, will miss 4-6 weeks Herman announced on Monday.

Whittington will travel to Philadelphia to have the repair work done by who Herman called “the godfather” of this kind of surgery.

Roschon Johnson will move up the depth chart to #2 behind Keaontay Ingram.

I wonder why Jake Smith isn’t getting an emergency look there.... if memory serves, he rushed for one billion yards in high school.

I’m sure 83Dee hasn’t brain-stormed this more than Tom Herman.

RJ volunteered. Perhaps David did, too. Jake Smith is high on the rotation at his position. I don’t know where David sat.

RJ looked really good. Hopefully David will too. He probably already did, or he wouldn’t have been mentioned.

That cut was so smooth, it’s hard to believe anything happened.
