I doubt that it will happen, but if .... What's the best bowl opportunity?

I'm not sold on the Cotton. Baylor vs. LSU/Texas A&M will be a great matchup. Now if they can get Aggies vs. Longhorns, they'll do it but LSU always travels well to Dallas an helps tourism. I think it will be Baylor vs. LSU in the Cotton and Texas will go to the Holiday Bowl and face USC.

If Aggie loses tonight....what bowl... Middle of Pack SEC team gets what?

If we beat Baylor, and OK St beats OU, it is UT vs LSU in the Cotton Bowl. If OU wins then we go to the Fiesta Bowl

If we lose to Baylor then we may end up playing aTm in a lesser bowl.

IF we were to beat BU, we would likely play LSU in the Cotton.

If we lose to BU it's most likely the Alamo for us, it will not be against an SEC team, but a PAC 12 team

In short, we will not be playing Aggy

Cotton with a OSU win, Fiesta with OSU loss

Cotton would possibly be Alabama, which is really crazy to wrap my head around at this point. That our they would try to send someone like South Car or LSU, both good multiple loss teams not playing for the SEC champ either.

Aggy, who will finish tied for 7th with VANDERBILT in the SEC, except with less top 25 wins, is looking at an Outback Bowl at best, but possibly the Gator or Music City bowl. God, how mortifying would that be...

With a Baylor loss, we might as well pack up and head to San Antonio again...

Alabama will probably get the nod for an Orange Bow birth. (I expect Auburn to win next week and be in the Sugar Bowl, but should Missouri finally beat a real football team, 1 loss Bama should trump 2 loss Auburn).

Lets also not forget Northern Illinois will get an auto birth with a win the MAC title game, and Michigan State gets the Rose Bowl bid even with a loss to OSU should they stay in the top 14.

We currently project to the Buffalo Wild Wings bowl, but now the opponent is Devin Gardner and the Michigan Wolverines.

I actually went to Fort Worth yesterday to watch the game. Baylor is very beatable. Texas must get pressure on Petty. He does a great job getting rid of the ball fast. Jeffcoat needs to come out possessed. Two weeks ago I didn't think it possible, but I believe this is most winnable. Being the final curtain call at Floyd Casey will give the Bears a little extra juice.

Per ESPN bowl projections:

High range - Cotton Bowl

Low Range - Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl
