Case has been terrible today. At least let Swoopes run the zone read. This is typical Mack. This is the main reason he will be gone after this year.

Oh come on now...the experience Swoopes got making those handoffs is INVALUABLE as a step in his development........

Now who sounds like the sarcastic propaganda arm. LMAO

It is just mystifying to me what they are thinking. One would think we would have gotten Swoopes some more meaningful minutes today. As ugly as it was this game was in hand at halftime. Why not play the kid. I guess when Case gets hurt he will get all the minutes.

Doesn't make sense to me. I was okay with the burn because I assumed he was going to get more playing time this week....especially when we went up 35-6. No comprendo!

The shirt needed to be burned, long ago.

Having said that, watching him throw the ball, we're f##ked if Ash can't come back later this year and even more so if he can't come back next year unless Heard shows up ready too roll.

Bad assumption. Mack has a history of this.

Playing Swoopes makes such little sense, it leaves me with the following:

> Ash must be ruled out for the season

> Mack must feel if UT wins out, he may get another season or enhances his legacy

> Overstreet must not be able to wad up paper and hit a trash can from 10 feet away

The decision making process of Mack Brown, in particular with regards to Swoopes and Overstreet this season is par for the course. Folks, this is who Mack Brown is and has been. I'm surprised that so many are surprised by this. It's SOP for Mack Brown

Hook'em!

Sad but true. Swoopes should have been a redshirt all the way and Overstreet should have been given some legit opportunities to be the backup. The fact the kid has only taken one offensive snap since the first game of the season is one of life's great mysteries. He's clearly deep in Mack/Major's dog house though. Just think how much better our QB situation would look this season if Mack hadn't put the kabosh on Bo Wallace's planned visit to Texas.

Don't understand Mack's reluctance to go after JC guys...unless he views it as some sort of failure on his part in regards to his inability to develop HS players.

You were expecting a Mack Brown decision to make sense?

The only reason we have a national championship under Mack Brown is Vince Young's decision making. Outside of that, Mack Brown is an average coach who can recruit well but has poor gameday decision.

Trust me, if this season ends how I expect it too (8-4) and if Oliver Luck gets the job. Mack Brown will "retire"

It's not just about winning games, style points matter as well. What recruit in his right mind would want to play for this guy or this program right now? With Case at QB, our offfense is downright boring to watch and to play in.

Kids want to have fun. There is nothing about this offense that is fun. It is pedestrian and workman at best. Style matters with recruits.

Unfortunately Mack just doesn't get this concept. It is all about Mack at this point, NOT the program. If he wins, in his mind he should get to stay here as long as he wants. Being 6-2 and unranked aint what Mack is being paid $5.4M+ for. It isn't about Conference Championships either (which Mack has underachieved at as well!). It is about National Championships.

this cannot be emphasized enough. he is costing the school money in revenue and recruits.
