Hoops grabs the spotlight

In the big picture I think opening up an additional scholarship is a good thing. As far as the outside shooting goes, it will be interesting to see if they are able to get more open looks with the added attention to Turner and Ridley. If they can move the ball enough I would suspect this will be the case.

This topic sort of reminds me of a line from the song "Mrs. Robinson" --

Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio

A nation turns its lonely eyes to you (Woo, woo, woo)

Right now, the Longhorn Nation is turning its lonely eyes to Rick Barnes and mens hoops

(and away from football)

But, maybe that will change today?

The key early on will be to kick the ball around very quickly. At least 5 times in a possession.

Get the defense on their toes, make them make mistakes and hopefully to get a matchup they like and execute. (ie. Cam Ridley on a Small Forward).
