Matt, I think Westlake has a lot to feel good about right now. First game under new head coach and they're a FG from a tie with Southlake Carroll (17-14).
Westlake will be a player in the playoffs this year, IMO.

Talked to a friend of mine who was at the Daingerfield vs Gladewater game last night.
He said Daylon Mack showed up well, spent most of the night in the DF backfield. Said he is very good, but he doesn't think he's 5-star good at this point.
He raved about the DL playing along side Mack, a junior named Quanterius Turner (6'3, 275). Said he was as good as Mack is right now. Quicker, stronger, but a tad smaller.
