Great Press Conference

I thought Coach Strong had a great press conference. He seemed genuine and confident. I noticed the one thing he kept saying is "tough". That's what we need. I also loved his body language and response to the question about not being the first choice. It didn't bother him one bit. He didn't care. He seemed up to the challenge of making a difference on the football field and ensuring the "young men" (not kids) are graduating. He came off as a man of high character AND work ethic. He didn't care about race (although it may help with recruiting). He respected the past while wanting to build on the future HIS WAY. If he can do half of what he said he in the press conference on the football field, then we will have ourselves a hell of a program. Congrats to Coach Strong and his family. It was a long time coming, but well deserved. Hook 'em!

Yes we have something here.........and it is Coach Strong. I am real excited about all of this and what he brings to UT.

Extremely confident- no arrogance- connecting and building Texas to be back in the National Stage where it belongs. It's exciting times for Texas Longhorns and the fan base. Once again, welcome Coach Strong and your family to Austin and always HOOK EM
