Texas volleyball beat UTEP, New Mexico and Seattle this weekend all in 3-0 fashion. Texas should get a good test on Saturday as they travel to Florida. There will only be 3 or 4 games that are even a challenge for the Horns this year, Florida will be one of them. Matter of fact the Horns are scheduling club teams in other nations this year, because there simply isn't enough competition. That was part of the problem last year come tournament time, Texas wasn't prepared because of the lack of competition.
Texas soccer tied a ranked Arkansas team 0-0 and beat Nevada 5-1. Texas plays Montana on Sunday in Austin. Interesting note, Kristine Lilly is an assistant coach for the Horns this year. Pretty good work by the coaching staff to get an assistant coach at that caliber.
Texas football beat North Texas 38-7. Texas plays BYU this weekend in Austin.
