Here's the other thing that's different between Beard and Worthy. Beard's attorney then became his partner's attorney (like what in the world???) and then the charges were dropped. What was the attorney going to do, argue with himself in court. That was very suspect and says "lets sweep this under the rug".

No, IIRC she wanted to drop the charges and APD said it's out of our hands. That's when she hired Beard's lawyer.
