Final

I can't help but think that the light schedule shows up when we played the two heavyweights (Gonzaga and SH).

Seton Hall has a very good team. I think our ceiling is much higher. This team just needs more time. By mid-conference, we should be clicking on all cylinders.

Tough game tonight.

Seton Hall size caused some issues, but it was more about bad 3 point shooting, shot selection. There were several times either Carr, Allen, or a few others got to far low allowing their bigs to block or lose the ball out of bounds.

Allen had a solid game except for a few bad shot selection. Mitchell was probably the best player for us on the court tonight.

Askew needs to start being a better player when we have the ball or his minutes will go down. Same goes for Bishop. Both are okay on the defensive side.

We really need to get Disu in some games for a few minutes to start getting him ready for conference play and getting the team gelling together more.

Tonight showed why we really need Disu, or any of the former bigs we once had.

Agreed. We have a big rebounder we win by 10.
Greg Brown should have stayed one more year and learned under Beard. We need some fast break transition offense.

The offensive lulls aren’t a huge surprise for a Beard team and they should get better on that end as the season goes on.

The rebounding is killing us against the good teams though. We need Disu desperately. Hopefully he doesn’t have any setbacks.
