SignUp Now!Yes other than speed. Brooks gets alot of missed tackles with his shifting.I may be alone in this but doesn’t Brooks look like a slower Jamaal Charles? This doesn’t mean Brooks is slow of course. Rare is speed to match Jamaal. But I feel like Brooks has some small jukes to avoid contact that are very effective like Charles did but also very good burst. Jamaal probably had a little more juke too but I dunno I feel he’s a similar style right now except the very high end speed.
Baxter right now reminds me of Benson. Gets 3-5 yds consistently rarely a loss. He may not be 100% healthy bc I expected a bit more speed but he can juke better than Benson but he’s getting tackled a lot faster than expected and less power to hold through hits. Vision is great as he’s often caught from behind.
good observation I thought Bijan would have taken it to the house on his first long run , BUT Brooks runs very well between the tackles and hit the hole as well as anyone we have had and he makes one move and is GONE..if he stays healthy no telling where he ends up on the all time list, especially in Sark's offenseI may be alone in this but doesn’t Brooks look like a slower Jamaal Charles? I am going to keep reminding yall that Maalik is not a running QB. Of the 3 options he is probably the least agile and slowest. Arch would probably be the best option to run in a boot leg.If Im going to run that play I would run it with Maalik
I’m calling BS. I think they held him out because they knew they’d lose the game anyway. Hate to say it, but I believe itTightness in his back (back spasms)
What would be the benefit?I’m calling BS. I think they held him out because they knew they’d lose the game anyway. Hate to say it, but I believe it
Are you saying that you don't believe Daniels was hurt at all?I’m calling BS. I think they held him out because they knew they’d lose the game anyway. Hate to say it, but I believe it
I believe he has a bad back. Maybe KU didn't want his back to go from bad to out for the year. There were a couple of hits Bean took that would have hurt someone who had a bad back. For the first time in forever, we hit hard... and tackle. What would be the benefit?
Keep him healthy even though you lose. What would be the benefit?
YepAre you saying that you don't believe Daniels was hurt at all?
And their OL wasn’t great in protection.I believe he has a bad back. Maybe KU didn't want his back to go from bad to out for the year. There were a couple of hits Bean took that would have hurt someone who had a bad back. For the first time in forever, we hit hard... and tackle.
So you're saying that he was perfectly healthy, but because they thought they were going to lose, they didn't play him?
So it was coaching gamesmanship? The coach knew he was injured and brought him anyway? Liepold is a heck of a coach. Good enough he may not have wanted his starting qb getting hurt and ruining his chance at a 10+ win season. I just don’t buy the oh he has back spasms all the suddenSo you're saying that he was perfectly healthy, but because they thought they were going to lose, they didn't play him?
Sorry, but that's ridiculous. No quicker way to lose your team than to waive the white flag before the game even started. If he did for that, he would lose the whole locker room immediately.
Look up the HC. That guy has won at every level and busted his butt to get to this point. He is a winner.
Agree to disagree here.
He missed the first game of the year with back spasms. I’ve had back spasms. They come and go until you really rest and the muscles heal. Sometimes the slightest movement brings them on. Then you can’t do much for a day or two. You can get around just not much movement of the back.So it was coaching gamesmanship? The coach knew he was injured and brought him anyway?
