Seems Duke University is taking umbridge (f**KING spell correct) with the John Wayne family for having the audacity to brand their new bourbon John Wayne Duke Bourbon. . . .

You can't make up this level of stupidity but generally it's aggies acting like. . .. .well aggies. . .

BTW, the bottle label bears a likeness of The Duke (not to be confused with Duke U). . .

No word on whether they are demanding royalties from Duke Ellington or the Duke of Earl. . . .

Good grief...it's well-known that John Wayne's nickname was "The Duke".

I thought Duke students and alumni are intelligent?

Yep!  The resemblance is uncanny!  I do not know why they did not put the squash on The Duke a long time ago!

Next thing on Duke's agenda is to chase down and serve the heirs of Gene Chandler for tarnishing their good name with that raucous song "Duke of Earl!" Oh, then it'll be on to the royal families of the various Monarchy's. How dare they name someone after thier fare university.  THEN on to the source of all this sovereign power.... God!" Yes, duke will have to sue God if they intend to protect their good name and intellectual property.

aggy is sure to follow their lead.

Guys!  We need to realize that this is a diversionary tactic!  As ridiculous as this "Duke" situation may seem, we must refocus our focusedness on the 12th man controversy.
