Dave Aranda Says No To A&M

So according to FriscoKid, the whole exercise was not to find a new DC, but to get LSU to spend more money.

So, did the Ags owe anything on “The Chief’s” contract?  They are throwing money around like they weren’t in debt to their PUBLIC university a few years ago. One, that I might add had unremediated mold in ceilings of classrooms 2 years ago, which a student told me about.

What are they going to do when Jimbo has a 8-5 season or an 7-4 season, 6-6?  Who’s going to bail them out?

Hook ‘em!

I am just seeing shades of the Jackie Sherrill all over again and the new attitude at A&M is just win at any cost including NCAA violations.  Trust me with the amount of money that is being spent in La La Land there is no way they are going to run the program within the rules of the NCAA.  Hell,  mobile phone sales probably  increased  in College Station when Fischer was hired as they probably  issued him, the Athletic Director, and all of the new Coaches with 5 separate phones so their calls could never be tracked back to them.

This isn't the late 80s and aggy sits in a division with Bama, Auburn and LSU. Arkansas is about to get very good, too. So even if aggy gets better, it still won't be good enough to provide better results than they're getting.

Next year, they have Clemson, Bama and Auburn on the schedule along with probably an improved Arkiesaw and an LSU thats still much more talented than aggy. Fisher's first year will need to be dunked in luck.

Chavis is still on the payroll because aggy has not fired him and Arkie has not hired him. Something tells me this is intentional. This could get interesting . . .

I'll remind you that aggy has already spent a small fortune in the last few years. At times, financially, they've had to be very creative to make things work. So . . . let them spend.

Sir what it reminds me of is how Jackie cheated when it came to recruiting and that is what I see happening all over again with Fischer .
