Demetrius Knox next?

Gresham committed an hour or so ago as many expected he would. The scoop on him:

High School: All Saints Episcopal (Fort Worth)

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 230 lbs.

Position: FB/RB

40 YD time: 4.59

His teammate at All Saints Demetrius Knox has not committed to Texas yet, but I think we can all expect Knox to join Gresham as he said he would.

Knox has said he will not commit now until next year. Both Knox and Gresham continue to say they will play college ball together.

Rumors have Knox not committing to Texas bc the HS coach wants other colleges to continue to come by and recruit other players on the team, so if Knox remains un-committed then more schools will come by. Just a rumor, not sure how true it is.

Gresham alone is a very good take for Texas. A versatile FB who can run with the ball and block and catch.

Knox has a tinge of an affinity for Ohio State rumor has it as well. A childhood favorite team I have heard. While I think Texas is on top Urban Meyer needs to be watched. Closely!

I could understand the high school coach angle. Ever since Mark Mangino and Mike Leach had huge success in foot ball without playing it in college, they opened the door for that high school coach pipeline to college. More colleges come by, the more potential opportunity they have to land a college coaching gig as a position coach.
