Possibility of de-committing from Tennessee and committing to Texas: Good
Santos was originally committed to Oklahoma State as a Junior and then switched his commitment to Tennessee. Texas didn't fully pursue Santos initially but Manny Diaz is trying to work enough magic to bring Santos to Austin.

Johnson has flirted with Texas and reaffirmed his commitment to TCU. Latest reports are that Johnson is 90% sure he will become a Longhorn.

Possibility of decommitting from Oregon and committing to Texas: Not good
The offer from Texas caught Cottrell somewhat off-guard. Looks like he will visit Texas but Oregon still looks like his school. A phenomenal visit to Austin wouldn't hurt the Longhorns' chances.

We've heard that Arkansas and Missouri were in the lead for DGB's talent but reports are that Mack's visit with DGB and family went extremely well. On the other side - Petrino bumped into him at the ACFA Coaches Convention and has not officially visited with DGB (NCAA upset?). Gary Pinkel flew in a helicopter to meet DGB. Everyone is breaking out the good china and linens for this guy. Where he will land will keep everyone guessing until the end. Props to Dorial for not playing games.
