One of my favorite Dallas Cowboys passed away. Walt Garrison, 79, passed away.

Walt Garrison was tough. Playing the NFC Championship Game against the
San Francisco 49ers with a cracked collarbone and a serious ankle injury, but still managing to record 17 carries for 71 yards, 3 receptions for 51 yards and one touchdown. It was reported in the media, that the trainers needed 36 yards of tape to get him ready to play
In Super Bowl V.

Don Meredith said, "If it was 3rd down, & you needed 4 yards, Walt would get you 5. If it was 3rd down & 20, by God, Walt would get you 5!"

I remember one of his sayings “ If you can’t beat ‘em , cheat em. And if you can beat ‘em, cheat em for practice “
LMAO !
Loved the guy.
Rest in peace cowboy.
