4-4 halfway through the season is a bit of a disappointment for me but I have confidence Dallas will go 6-2 the rest of the way. Will 10-6 be good enough to get them into post season play? I don't know but I think they cannot lose more than 2 from here on out. How long is Austin out for?

Looking at their remaining schedule (below). I think your 4 sure wins are Washington, Miami, Arizona and Tampa Bay. Buffalo is iffy, and having to face Philly one more time and NY twice, who knows what you'll get out of Romo and the boys. You could be looking at a 4-4 second half as well and miss the playoffs...again...Just saying!

Nov 13 BUF @ DAL ??

Nov 20 DAL @ WAS W

Nov 24 MIA @ DAL W

Dec 04 DAL @ ARI W

Dec 11 NYG @ DAL ??

Dec 17 DAL @ TB W

Dec 24 PHI @ DAL ??

Jan 01 DAL @ NYG ??

`I was going to write a piece on this but since you are going this direction I'll just throw my two cents in here..

The Cowboys had the second hardest schedule in the first half of the season. In the second half they face the second easiest schedule. They will be favored in the next four games and I like their chances for a sweep.

Romo is healthy. For the first time since the rib injury he didn't take a pain killer before the Seattle game and he responded with a good game with a QB rating of 112.2. I am still amazed at how well he played with this injury.

They are only chasing one team in the East. They are tied with Philly but have the last game at home with the Eagles. They are a game ahead of the Redskins and have a win against them. The Giants have a two game lead but in the next four weeks while the Cowboys are playing Buffalo, at Washington, Miami and at Arizona, the Giants are at SF, Philly, at New Orleans and Green Bay.

DeMarco Murry has arrived. All he has done in a three game span is rush for 466 yards, an all time Dallas record. Add to that Felix Jones is expected to return and I see good things happening in the second half.

The last four games will tell the tale. Dallas plays the Giants twice, Philly and Tampa Bay. Win two of those and sweep the next four and they are 10-6. That gives them a good chance to win the East or a wild card.
