Couple Baseball Questions

Perhaps already reported and I missed it.  I think Friday, July 18th was deadline for "draftee" to sign MLB contract.  Did Dillon Peters finally sign, or decide to return for his senior season?

Also, when he got injured, the initial reports were elbow...perhaps Tommy John surgery.  A more recent report stated that he had surgery on his throat.  Did he injure his elbow, or is this a continuation of the salivary gland ailment he experienced late in the season?

Peters signed with the Marlins at the deadline. He's scheduled for TJ surgery, but Miami offered a solid signing bonus (likely because of recent advancement in the procedure as well as the number of guys that rehab back to 100%).
