Thanks to not ketch on OB.. .  .

TEXAS finished #37 and #6 in conference behind Baylor (#5) TCU (#5) Oklahoma (#16) Okie Lite (#37) and KSU (#35)

I'll call it right now, we beat OU, Okie Lite and KSU. . . . .I will not be shocked if we beat Baylor in their house.

Think we lose to ND, TCU, Cal is closer than we think and someone upsets us (WVU maybe?)

I'd take 8-4 right now, but I predict 7-5.

aggie at #22? With that defense?

4 of the Top 10 are breaking in new QB's. That ranking may be valid in November, but losing Mariota/Petty/etc makes it hard to justify it in the preseason.

Excellent catch. . .

I meant to point that out. . .

really really well. And that's why preseason rankings matter.
Preseason rankings only matter to give mediocre teams a bloated rep.

That way, Ole Miss and Miss State can get undue cred for dusting aggie in a mid-season SEC game. Of course, aggie benefited from USCe's Top 10 rank to kick off 2014. They're just a "beauty pageant" for talking heads and magazine editors.

It is what it is....gives us something to bitch about before the season.
