I don't know what value we will gain by beating UTSA into oblivion. I certainly hope we don't get anyone hurt.

UTSA just got routed by Texas State. I don't expect much resistence and we should win easily. I would not be surprised to see Quinn play 1 quarter and then hand it over to Arch. At the end of the third, I give the ball to Trey Owens. Texas could concevably play every player on the roster ini this one.

Lots of opportunities for the depth to show out

And now, the list of games . . .

1. Arizona State at Texas State

2. #20 Arizona at #14 Kansas State

3. #4 Alabama at Wisconsin

4. #16 LSU at South Carolinai

5. Memphis at Florida State

6. North Texas at Texas Tech

7. #24 Boston College at #6 Missouri

8. #9 Oregon at Oregon State

9. aggy at Florida

10. Colorado at Colorado State

TIEBREAKER GAME – UTSA at Texas (predict final score)

Something seems fishy with this Tx St-Ariz St (-2) line...or is it just me? The Sun Devils seem like a pretty easy bet here. What am I missing?

Texas State had a very strong showing last week and this game a home game for Texas State. Arizona State was kinda meh. My pick is Texas State.

1. 🤔 Texas State - 2 ho hum teams going with the home dog

2. Kansas State - Avery Johnson was a great point guard. He should make a good QB...wait, huh? o_O

3. Alabama - Bama had trouble with USF until they wore them down in the 4th qtr. Wisky won't wear down. Let's see if DeBoer gets his team up for this game. I'd take Wisky and the points, but straight up, it's roll tide.

4. LSU - Are the Cocks for real or did Kentucky pull a ND? I guess we're going to find out.

5. Florida State - a must win game for the Seminoles

6. Texas Tech - this one looks like a toss up. Taking the home team.

7. Missouri

8. Oregon - rivalry game. Oregon hasn't shown me much. I'd take O State and the points but not straight up.

9. Florida - force the aggies to pass and they game is theirs to win. Must stop the run.

10. Colorado State - The Rams take over prime time

TIEBREAKER GAME – UTSA at Texas (predict final score): Like the DePeche Mode song says "get your kicks, on route..." 66-3

Texas will start slow after last weeks win.

I am trying to get out of the prediction business but here we go again.

Texas - 52
UTSA - 9

Quinn throws 3 TDs, the run game gets going, the defense causes turnovers and Arch shows you that Texas has two of the top 5 QBs in the country on its roster.

Texas specific predictions:

Streak of 2+ ints continues
Defense allows <100 rushing yards
Defense gets going with sacks, 4 of em

One of the thus far barley active WRs goes over 100 yards (cook, Moore or Bolden)
Gibson rushes for over 100 yards

How many sacks does Trey Moore get against his former team?

Folks, we have a tie this week for the steak knives. @PTA and @NEOkHorn both missed on two games.

Employing the tiiebreaker, PTA predicted a final score of 59-3. NEOK predicted 59-6. NEOK wins the steak knives this week!

Good job everyone.

I went for the upsets this week. Paid off once, but the others killed me. lol

We had 1 int, stifled their passing game overall
Allowed 128 rushing yards, that 1 long run was a killer here
3 sacks total, very close a few times for the 4th

Had 2 of the main WRs break 100, Cook and Moore scored 3 TDS combined
Gibson put in a good amount of work, never broke the long run needed to get over 100
