This is upset week! Picking some underdogs to beat the overdogs😁.

#5 Indiana at #2 Ohio State - Indiana has nothing to lose and their coach Cignetti just wins (google him😆). I'm going with the Hoosiers for the upset of the day.

#11 Ole Miss at Florida - I really want to pick the Gators but the Rebels need to make a statement if they want an invite to the CFP. They are on the bubble. I expect Ole Miss to score 50+ in this one. Florida has to wait until next week to become bowl eligible.

#6 BYU at Arizona State - A Sun Devil win here gives them a shot at the CCG. BYU is still in it but needs this one. Going with the underdog - BYU.

Pitt at #19 Louisville - The Panthers have lost 3 in a row. The Cardinals make it 4.

#24 Army at #8 Notre Dame - The Fighting Irish are peaking at the right time. Army gives them a better game than Navy but the result is the same.

#15 Texas A&M at Auburn - That toilet flush was the aggies CCG and CFP chances going down the drain.

Vanderbilt at #22 LSU - The road hasn't been good for the Commodores. This underdog goes down.

#17 Colorado at Kansas - Rock Chalk! The Jayhawks have nothing to lose and can be the spoilers of the Big 12. Another underdog that has some bite.

#10 Alabama at Oklahoma - forgetaboutit! ouSux

#23 Missouri at Miss State - The Bulldogs are the new Vandy.

TIEBREAKER – Kentucky 10 - Texas 31.

Texas 31 Kentucky 16 - Passing game continues to not be able to stretch the field unless it’s a big YAC play. This won’t change all season unfortunately. Offense starts slow but make some adjustments to give an okay cushion in the second and then again the third. Blue and Wisner have big days as well as Helm. Defense gets a score!

Texas specific predictions:

Kentucky is a pretty good team on defense. They give up a pretty high success rate but a low EPA per play against both the pass and rush. They also have a good points per eckel rate (points scored when opposing offense passes the 40). This boils down to a defense that can be moved on but limits explosive plays and tightens in the redzone.

They have a decent rush attach but this doesn't lead to many points. They have a pretty poor passing attack which we should have good success in shutting down.

Offense:
Quinn throws for less than 200 yards but this is more than the Kentucky QB
RBs lead the way, more RB yards compared to WR/TE yards

Defense:
I think 14 points would be impressive for Kentucky but I think Texas holds them to 10 or less
3 more sacks upfront and 2 more turnovers

Kentucky has a defense that has started off strong in each of its game, not allowing 2 scores to any team.

If Texas goes scoreless in the 1st, prepare for a fight. If Texas gets 3-7 points on the board, I'd say this is about what to expect. If Texas puts up double digits in the 1st, I think thats a good indicator that Texas will go on to win big.

Final Score Prediction:
Texas 31- Kentucky 10

And without delay, the winners of the weekly prognosticators contest.

We had a three-way tie for first place this week. Lots of misses among the whole group this week due to some upsets.

Chapalahorn, Hookemhorb and myself tied with 4 misses. With the tirebreaker factored in, Hookemhorb comes out the winner with a 31-10 predicted score.

Congratulations to Hookemhorb though this is not his first week to win this thing. Steak knives are on the way!

Elsewhere:
NEOkHorn – 5 misses
DMAC – 5 misses
Baron – 5 misses
BruiseLee – 5 misses
PTA – 5 misses
Sunkist – 6 misses
General Hooker – 6 misses

Well thats what we get for picking the ags, it jinxed the rest.

Pretty good with my predictions this week:
Quinn was just under 200 yards (14 in the 2nd half) with 191 but Kentuckys QBs combined for 211 yards
RBs gained 256 scrimmage yards, WR/TEs 195

Defense only gave up 7 points, so I call that a win
6 sacks and 2 turnovers (with 5 fumbles forced with none recovered!)
