Or maybe the complete opposite. The NCAA is a joke. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if UT doesn't know he's been cleared by the NCAA. 

The way Watson/Strong have been talking in interviews it sounds like they thought it was in NCAA's hands.

I'm not buying the story that UT has known for a month. 

I would think Clarington would have received some type of confirmation from the NCAA.

The Possibilities:

1. NCAA forgot to mail notification to Devo and UT forgot to notify Devo.

2. Devo has been notified by everybody, but is playing it cool with an extended summer vacation.

3. Aggy intercepted all letters and is currently enjoying the confusion caused.

4. NCAA did not mail notification to Devo or UT.

5. NCAA mailed notificaiton to UT only and Patterson is trying to make money on it before forwarding it.

6. We just don't know.

Brian Davis just tweeted that the ACT folks are reviewing his scores and that's the only hold up. When you get a billion parties involved this crap takes forever I guess. Sounds like the NCAA has pretty much cleared him just waiting for the ACT folks to do whatever it is they do.

At least that's my interpretation based on the Brian Davis tweet.

The test scores stuff makes sense. From what I've read, it sounds like clearinghouse red  flags a lot of test scores for whatever reason.
