Chances Texas wins the Oklahoma or Okie State games?

So here it is. I am high as hell on Texas but I think we are going to lose one, maybe both of these games. No shame at all because these are two really good teams. BUT, I can also see a scenario where we win one of them (and possible even both).

The next two weeks will definitely be a test of just how good the Horns are this year. OU is a solid team all around. They are really balanced on both sides of the ball. Luckily for us, RRR is a game where you can just throw out how good a team is. I mean look what happened last year. We did not even deserve to be on the same field as the Sooners and it was still one hell of a football game. This game is about pride.... period. As for Okie State, they are all about offense. I feel like McCoy and Ash will be able to the ball against the OSU defense so the key is slowing them down. If we can find a way to semi-contain Justin Blackmon (no more than 2 or 3 15+ yard completions) and get some quick pressure on the old man under center, I think we have a VERY legitimate chance at getting out of this stretch with no less than a 1-1 record.

The Texas Defense is good enough to keep us in both of these games but the young offense is the concern. I believe in the ability of both McCoy and Ash but OU's defense is darn good. I have nightmares of Roy Williams jumping over the top to sack McCoy in the end zone. Ahhhh.

I feel better about our chances this year than last, that's for damn sure. Can we win, yes or course. Will we? I think we have a pretty decent shot.

I believe a&m showed college football that OSU has weaknesses. As for BlowU, Texas is young enough to not be intimidated. I predict Texas wins both games.

I like the gtownfootball prediction! I have to admit that I think Ash and McCoy are playing with a lot of nerve right now. If we can keep the game close going into the 4th quarter we can take it. If we get rattled early and turn the ball over then bad things can happen... Very bad things....

The guys just need to ignore all the hype and focus on playing good ball like they have been. Stoops will undoubtedly be infused with a case of "Harsinoma" come Saturday. I would hat eto be Stoopy if Harsin throws the kitchen sink at him...
