There are 2 nationally ranked studs still in the mix for the Longhorns.

1.) Dorial Green-Beckham. The Nation's #1 Prospect and studmuffin wide receiver. He visited Austin during the weekend of the K-State game and liked what he saw.

2.) Mario Edwards. He's out of Denton Ryan High Schol and he's a beast Defensive End. Rated # 1 in the nation in some recruiting polls. He's committed to Florida State but evidently several Texas commits are trying to sway him to change his mind. Word has it that 4-star commit Alex De La Torre (linebacker) has taken it upon himself to convince Edwards to commit to the Longhorns.

Texas has an ass-kicking of a class for 2012 and if they landed just one of these two players, they could easily claim domination in the recruiting prowess. If they claim both of these... fahhhgetaboudit.

I read a bit about Mario Edwards. Doesn't he have ties to the FSU program?

Doubt Edwards will decommit from the Noles but ya never know. His dad attended FSU which is where the ties are. His old man is a coach at his high school also.
