Can someone explain this?

I'm confused as to how next season the playoff will work. I understand it's a 4 team playoff, but will there still be all the bowl games for other teams and will there still be a rose bowl, fiesta bowl and the other BCS bowls? Thanks.

The "BCS" itself is dead, and the playoffs become the thing, but they only determine the four to play for the National Championship.

The "bowls" still exist for everyone else.

Here is an explanation to an extent, and remember there will be a couple new games, like the C-USA tie in one hosted in the Bahamas.

Thanks for the link. Where does this Big 12 - SEC Bowl play in all this? Isn't that next year?
