Alright, BIG 12 followers. I know everyone's heart stopped as they saw Baylor get rocked by Okstate and our chances of having a team go to the championship faded slowly away. However, I though about it, we could still have a team represented in the Championship this year.'
Okstate just annihilated the fastest scoring #4 team in the nation, which means they will move up from #10 in the BCS rankings, but to where?
#5 Oregon just lost pitifully to Arizona, and Baylor just got killed....Remove the #4 and #5 team please!
Our standings should look like this:
1) Alabama
2) FSU
3) Ohio State
4) Auburn
5) Mizzou
6) Okstate
7) Clemson
8) Stanford
-This is judging off my theory that the BCS will allow Okstate to jump Stanford and Clemson.
These rankings mean that three SEC teams are ranked lower than Okstate, all of these teams are going to be squaring off with one another in the coming weeks.
This means that Okstate is relying on Ohio State and FSU to lose, just like Baylor was before the Okstate game. Okstate lost to WVU week 5 and have improved greatly since then, hopefully the BCS will see this too!
It's highly unlikely, but the Big 12 is still in this thing!
