Here’s the 247 class calculator scores for all the big 12 teams coming into next season. This takes into account current Big 12 rosters and looks at attrition. 2014 is really incomplete as of yet, because attrition hasn’t happened. For instance, a couple Big 12 players in the 2014 class may not qualify. Texas will likely pass OU in the 2014 class, based on a couple players that won’t qualify for OU (unless those players end up qualifying).

That is very interesting! I am so excited that I can go outside because the sky is not falling! It's

blowing to think of the possibilities now that we have a coach that will sign Top 10 classes, and improve a

player's skills during their time on the 40. The possibilities are endless!

The future's so bright we gotta' wear shades, burnt orange of course!

Hook 'em!

Does 247 have the best player rating system?

"Best" is arbitrary. . . they do their own rankings but then add in a composite of the other major services as well which creates the "most balanced" but it's more art than science. . . having said that, I would rank their 1st. . .

Keep in mind how poorly the NFL draft does even though they spend millions more in evaluations and are dealing with a far more finished product. . . .

Want one more Texas subscription. Debating between 247 or HD. HORN Digest mainly to read Chip's stuff.

Hmmmm!  Looks like Texas has trended fairly well there, in spite of our difficulties of late.  As, SFLG sez, being a coach who has a reputation of doing well with less, Coach Charlie should oughta have us in pretty good stead sooner rather than later.  At least, one would think!
