Learned today that Wickline was at North Shore High School at 3:00 pm today pulling Tyler Moore's transcripts. At around 6:00 pm before the game I was talking to Vince Sebo, Galena Park ISD Athletic Director, and Wickline walked up. We all talked for a few minutes and Vince asked Wickline if "UT was going to get Tyler Moore." Wickine didn't answer with a straight yes or no but alluded to the fact that he was at that game tonight to watch him play more.
Wickline had some really nice things to say about Moore's skilset/ potential.
On Moore - he's added around 5 lbs. of muscle to his upper body recently.
His latest offer came from BYU as he and his dad were walking back to their truck after watching Texas got throttled by the Cougars in Game 2. The cell phone rang and you can imagine what the BYU OC said to Tyler prior to him extending a scholarship offer. It had to do with one team receiving a whipping and asking Tyler if he saw it up close from the sideline.
The good news on Moore is that it will take a lot to sway him away from Texas, but at this point nothing is a sure thing.
