  I've been reading through the rumors about My All American, and as some of you may know they are making a groundbreaking film about Longhorn Legend Freddie Steinmark. Directors and Producers are already attached, and I wanted your honest opinions on a casting rumor. Now knowing its based on a true story, It reveals a perfect opportunity to cast an unknown. Freddie Steinmark will be some tough shoes to fill, based on his courage and good hearted nature. Looks like there may be someone on the horizon. His name is Jonny Andrew, he's been reading for some notable projects lately and seems to look the part? What do ya'll think?

Honestly, how much he resembles him is of less consequence than his ability to capture his spirit and translate it to the screen. That's the key to the film, IMO.

I don't honestly know who it is S2P. I heard a few hints that it may be a "Moses" type actor, but that's just my speculation.

Matt, at the auditions they had pictures of all the real people, so they are going to great lengths to match looks. Good thing was I DO look like one of the two guys I read for. However,I'm currently a bit heavier than he was back then. I'm using it as incentive but they will make their decision on how we all looked previously, so who knows.

I can tell you the portions of the script I was given are..... Amazing!
