I was surprised at Watson & Malcom Brown's insights on Tuesday.

I see his points about the offensive line. Originally I was dumbfounded as to why he didn't use a lot of roll outs and screen plays, but those types of plays require the offensive line to move around and pull and have good timing. The game plan was kept simple for more than just Swoopes. The offensive line was just as green as Swoopes so they had to have a simplistic gameplan just as much as him.

Hopefully they'll be ready to open that play book up a little more this week.

Granted there may not be a game plan that we can successfully execute. But we have proven we cannot execute the BYU game plan. I suggest we try something different.

The coaching staff has alluded to the idea that most of the players need to put in time outside of practice if they are going to "get it" and excel on game days.  Bedford:
