Looks like Caldwell has pulled ahead in the battle for 2nd string QB. KJ Lacey got some time with the 1s and was very effective.

I keep hearing good things about Lacey. He won't make it easy on Dia Bell when Arch leaves. Also, glad we signed Caldwell. I haven't heard much positive on Owens, so this will allow us to keep Laceys redshirt.

Good to hear. Sark even said he reminds him a lot of Young, which is high praise.

I'd be happy with:
2025 - Arch RS So (Caldwell/Owens, Lacey RS)
2026 - Arch RS Jr (Lacey RS Fr, Bell RS)
2027 - Lacey RS So (Bell RS Fr, 2027 guy RS)
2028 - Lacey RS Jr or Bell RS SO battle (2027 RS Fr)

You really won't have a decision to make until the 2028 season...potentially.
