2. Johntay Cook

3. Niblett

4.Jalen Brown

5. Jaden Greathouse

6. Pettaway

7. Parker

I list Hale first because he has everything you want in abundance. He's the state's best, IMO. Cook and Niblett are a lot alike. I like Greathouse's size and hands.

My top 4 (and I think 4 is plenty for this cycle) are (in order):

1. Pettaway

2. Hale

3. Greathouse

4. Niblett

Neyor, Worthy, Hall, Thompson and hopefully Omiere will be the rotation in 2023.  Plus you factor in that Evan Stewart will be transferring in from ATM after he goes through a year in that offense and sees his draft stock go way down.

I think NIL changes how some may think about transferring and draft stock. It takes a good year or two to get move you up in the draft. Probably for most receivers it will be their junior and senior years. If you are collecting $3-10M/year why make a move your sophomore year. Why not collect a little more then transfer to get your draft stock up.

There's going to be a lot of "experts" whispering in these kids ears. That's what I'd be telling them. You can collect now and later.

I would put Hale and Brown as 1 and 1a.  Then Niblett and Greathouse. I think Cook would be in do to his friendship  with Manning and Owens, not that he is a bad player,  but Niblett, Greathouse,  and Pettaway are equal or better  wrs.

Yeah, I probably had both Brown and Pettaway ranked too low on my scale. Both have great speed.

I want three who have speed plus Greathouse. Greathouse has intangibles that I like. He just finds ways to make plays. You can never have too many of those.

I'd put Braylon James on this list but I have about had it with Del Valle recruits giving Texas the middle finger. That coaching staff must have an issue with UT.
