2013 Carrier Classic to feature the Longhorns?

JW tweeted a link to Zagsblog.com which had an article that mentioned the Longhorns, Kentucky Wildcats, NC State and Mizzou as teams that would highlight the 2013 Carrier Classic. The venue has yet to be set but according to the article, potential locations include the USS Yorktown, the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi and the USS Midway in San Diego. New Orleans, which hosts the National World War II Museum and hosted the 2012 Final Four, could also host a Navy carrier.

 

Michigan State and North Carolina played in the 2011 Carrier Classic last year aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson see pic below. FREAKING AWESOME!!!
