***⚾️ Texas vs. Cal State Fullerton Weekend Thread***

The nine-game home stand for the Longhorns continues on Friday with a three-game series against Cal State Fullerton.  These programs last met in Omaha in the 2004 College World Series Finals.

The weekend will be a special one, with Augie Garrido being on the minds of Titans and Longhorns fans alike.  Garrido won three national titles as head coach of Cal State Fullerton (1979, 1984, 1995) and two as skipper of the Longhorns (2002, 2005).

Both programs are amongst the top 10 winningest programs of all time.

Texas (10-3, 0-0) lost a Tuesday night matchup against Arizona 6-8 at Disch-Falk Field. Cal State Fullerton (4-9, 0-0)  has lost three in-a-row, including a 9-3 loss on Wednesday to Aizona State.
