I have serious doubts about the direction this hire will take the program. On the surface, this hire seems to be a terrible mistake. It seems like Texas swung and completely missed with this hiring. Are we on the road to becoming the next THUG-U? I'm going need several weeks to process this...

Please hire John Harbaugh, Jimbo Fisher, or Gus Malzahn!   Saban is too old. He's on the decline, and it will take him 2 to 3 years to adjust to the BIG 12 . Then he's likely to retire just as Texas begins winning again and we'll be back to square one. I'd prefer the new coach not be over age 55.
